Statistical confidentiality is dealt by the articles
32-36
of the Law on Statistics of
Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The data has been collected, processed and stored for the
purpose of producing statistical data are deemed to be
confidential if using this data one can, indirectly or directly,
identify the reporting units, and therefore reveal individual
data. The reporting unit can be indirectly identified by name
and address that is, using the identification number which has
been official assigned. The indirect identification is the
determining of the identity of the reporting unit using
deduction, taking into account all measures that could be used
in order to identify the above-mentioned reporting unit.”
“During the collection, processing and distribution of
statistical data, the Federal Office of Statistics and other
competent bodies and organizations will take all necessary
organizational, regulative, administrative and technical
measures to protect the confidentiality of the data from
unauthorized access, or from being published and used for
purposes other than statistics."
"In the process of performing their tasks determined by this law,
the Federal Office of Statistics and other competent bodies and
organizations act in accordance with the: ”
