03/2007 INDUSTRY Industrial production in the Federation of Bosnia
and Herzegovina in February 2007 less
for 5,8% in relation to the average
monthly production of 2006, and less for 2,8% in relation to January 2007. Viewed according to branches of industry in
February 2007 in relation to average monthly production of last year
industrial production in field of
Mining less for 13,3% Manufacturing
industry for 2,2%, Electricity, gas and water supply for 12,0%. LIVESTOCK Number of cattle in 2006 in relation to 2005 decline for 0,4%, horses
for 9,3% goats for 0,6% and rabbits for 25,8%. Number of sheep increase by
6,8%, pigs by 2,9%, poultry by 28,5% and beehives by 6,3%. In relation to 2005 in 2006 production of cow’s milk increase by
2,4%, ewe’s by 5,5%, wool by 9,7% and honey by 10,4%. Production of goat’s milk decline for 2,5% and eggs for 4,2%. FORESTRY
The total production of forestry assortments in January 2007 rose for 38.000 m3
(49,4%) in relation to same month
of 2006. Production
of assortments of coniferous
rose for 20.000 m3 (64,5%)
while the production assortiments of broadleaf rose for 18.000 m3
(39,1%). The total sale
of forestry assortments in
January 2007 rose for 25.000 m3 (42,4%) in relation to same month of 2006. Sale of assortments of coniferous rose for 17.000 m3 (65,4%) while
sale assortiments of broadleafs rose
for 7.000 m3 (21,1%). CONSTRUCTION Total value of completed construction projects in
January 2007 in relation to average value completed construction projects in
2006 less for 42,3% while in relation to same month of 2006 rose by 121,1%. In January
2007 60,4% of completed
projects related to building, and 39,6% civil enginnering works. In January
2007 58,3% of completed
projects related to newly-built buildings, 41,7% to reconstruction,
maintenance and repair works of existing buildings. The realized efective hours in January 2007
was 1.377.234 Share was following: bildings 50,8%, and for civil
engineering works 49,2%. The number of workers in January 2007 was 8.785,
of which of the buildings 51,5%, and on the civil engineering works 48,5%. In comparasion with 2005, in 2006 the value of
contracts abroad more by 34,6 %, and the value of construction put in place
more by 22,6 %. The most part of completed
projects in abroad in 2006, refer to
countries of Africa 52,2 %. Viewed according to types of
works in completed construction projects,
building construction shared 50,7 %, civil engineering shared 49,3 %. HOME TRADE
Retail
trade
During Januaru 2007
we corrected preliminary retail trade data for period I - XII 2006.
Total value (VAT excluded) declined from 4.467.311 thousand KM to 4.467.281
thousand KM.
Value in retail trade
(included VAT) declined from 4.273.241 thousand KM to 4.273.099 thousand KM,
while the value of trade in other activities increased from 427.601 thousand
KM to 427.705 thousand KM.
Value of retail trade in January 2007 (VAT
including) was 340.808 thousand KM, what is 24,4% less then in previous month, and for 27,2% more
in relation to same month of last year.
Total value (VAT excluded)
in January 2007 was 318.286 thousand KM.
Value in other activities
(VAT excluded) in Januaryr 2007 was 26.622 thousand KM.
According
to prevailing activity of business entities greatest value of retail trade in
January 2007 realized in following activities: Retail sale in non-specialized
stores 131.535 thousand KM or 38,6% in total sale, Other retail sale of new
goods in specialized stores 69,478 thousand KM or 20,4%, and Retail sale of
fuels 72.640 thousand KM or 21,3%. The share of all other activities in total
retail sale was 19,7%. According to branches the
greatest values of retail trade in January 2007 were in following groups:
Non-specialized stores of food in value 104.287 thousand KM or 30,6% of total
sale, Automotive fuel 72.640 thousand KM or 21,3%, Other non-specialized
stores 27.247 thousand KM or 8,0%. The share of all other groups in total
retail sale was 40,1%.
These
data related to enterprises and their units located in Federation B&H. Business
entities of Federation B&H with units located in RS, in period 1.1. –
31.01. 2007 realized value of retail trade (VAT included) in amount of 9.587
thousand KM, and January coverage contains 35 business entities, what is 66%
from total registered business entities with units in RS. Sale of
agriculture products at outdoor
markets in January 2007
Value of sale agriculture products at outdoor markets in January 2007
was 4.464.395 KM, it represent increase of sale in amount of 927.460 KM or 26,2% in relation to January
of last year.
In January 2007 share in
total sale of agriculture products at
outdoor markets, grouped to products is as follows: Other products 27,6%,
Fruit 18,9%, Vegetable 20,2%, Milk and dairy products 11,6%, Honey 2,6%,
Cereals and cereals products 1,5%, Poultry and eggs 13,9%, Fish 2,4%, wood 1,3%.
Sale and purchase of agriculture products in January 2007
The total value of sale agricultural products by
own production of agricultural companies and agricultural cooperatives and
purchase of agriculture products from individual agriculture producers in
January 2007 came to 7.884.339 KM,
what in comparison with January of last year, represent increase for 1.810.194 KM or 29,8%. The total value of sale agriculture products by
companies and agricultural cooperatives in January 2007 amounts to
2.488.780 KM, what in relation to
January of last year represent
increase for 928.332 KM or 59,5%. The total value of purchase agriculture products
by individual agricultural producers in January 2007 amounts to 5.395.559 KM,
what in comparasion with January of
last year increase for 881.862 KM or
19,5%. TOURISM In January
2007 was realized 16.994 turist arrivals, what in for16,1% more in
relation to same month of last year. Tourist was realized 34.979 nights of which
domestic tourists was realized 44,5%, and foreign tourists 55,5%, In January
2007 domestic tourist nights less for 10,3%, and foreign tourist nights rose
by 12,7% in relation to same month of last year. Capacities in tourism in January 2007 come to 13.203 beds, what is for 14,2%
more in relation to same month of last year EMPLOYMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT The total number of employed persons in January
2007. on the area of the Federation B&H came to 392.734. Level of employment in January 2007represents
62,24 % from the level in 1991. (1991. represents territory which are according to territorial border belongs to
Federation B&H). According to the Unemployment service it was
367.449 registered unemployed persons at the end of January 2007., on the area of the Federation B&H. In
relation to the previous month it is
more for 5081 persons or by 1,40%. Composition of persons who seeking job is:
university-level specialist´s training 7.189 or 1,96%, advanced specialist´s
training 5.037 or 1,37%, intermediate
specialist´s training 83.045 or
22,60%, lower skilled workers 1.026
or 0,28%, highly skilled workers
2.874 or 0,78%,skilled workers 134.967 or 36,73%, semi - skilled workers
11.892 or 3,24% and not qualified workers 121.419 or 33,04%. Concerning to skill of persons who seeking job
233.112 or 63,44% refered to expertly persons and 134.337 or 36,56% refered
to non skilled persons. At the end of January 2007. organizations -
employers have started needs for 1.546 workers, so that to one application of
offering job covers 238 workers who
seeking job. WAGE The average net wage in January 2007 in F B&H came to 634,01 KM. In January 2007. average net wage increased by 0,32 %. In period XI 2006 – I 2007. average net wage came to 628,34 KM. In
relation to the same period of last year it increased by 8,15 %. The average gross wage in January 2007. in Federation B&H came to 932,37 KM. PENSION Payment
pensions in January 2007. in Federation B&H
were for 315.371 pensioners. The level of payment pension in January

PRICES Retail price indices The retail price indices in February 2007
in relation to the previous month are unchanged. The price index of agriculture products rose by
4,0% manufactured nonfood products
less for 0,4%, manufactured foodstuff and beverages rose by 0,1%. The
retail price index in February 2007 rose by 1,0% in relation to average price
index in 2006, In relation to february
2006 rose by 1,9%. In relation to December 2006 less for 0,2%. In period January – February 2007 in to relation
to same period 2006 retail price index rose by 2,0%. Cost of living indices The cost
of living index in February
2007 rose by 0,5% relation to
previous month. The index of cost for goods rose by 0,7% and for
services less for 0,6%. The
index of cost for food rose by 2,0%,
tabacco and beverages rose by 0,1%, fujel and lighting less for 0,2%, post
and telecommunication services less for 0,5%,. The index of cost for hyigiene and heallth less for 0,7%. The index of cost of living in February 2007
rose by 1,7% in relation to average cost of living index in 2006 and
in relation to same month of previous year rose by 1,1%. In relation to
December 2006 rose by 0,6%. In period January – February 2007 in relation to
same period 2006 cost of living indices rose by 1,1%. Indices of producers’
prices of industrial product The price index of producer industrial products
in February 2007 rose by 0,3% in relation to previous month. Viewed according to main industrial groupings
price index in energy rose by 0,5%, durable consumer goods less for 0,5%
intermediate goods except energy rose by 0,8%, non-durable consumer goods less for 0,5%, and capital goods
rose by 0,5%.. Viewed by sections and divisions of SCE-a in the
area of mining price index rose by 2,4% in the area of manufacturing and
electricity, gas and water supply price index are unchanged. Increase at price index was registred at following divisions: other
mining and quarrying for 5,0%,
processing of wood and manufacture of wood products except furniture
for 3,3%, mining and coal and peat for
1,9%, manufacture of furnture for 0,51%, manufacture of clothing,
dressing for 0,3% . Decline at price index was registred at following
divisions: manufacture of rubbel and plastic product for 4,3%, manufacture of
machinery for 1,6%, manufacture of chemical and chemical product for 0,4%. In other divisions at
price index are unchanged. The prices index of producer industrial products
in February 2007 rose by 5,1% in relation to average index in 2006 and in
relation to same month of last year rose by 5,0% in relation to December 2006 rose by 0,7%. In period January – February 2007 in relation to
same period 2006 index of producers prices of industrial products rose
by 4,7%. Basket of necessary product The basket of necessary products containing the
most important products that by content and quantities calculated by experts,
and that provides minimum needs for renewal power that expended of work. From category products “Food and beverages” made
selection of products for basket that covers standard needs for a family of four in a month, without
pretension that marking limited case on any way. Expenditures for
food and beverages according to the provided list
in February 2007 amounts to 496,38 KM, which is for 2,78 KM or 0,6 % more
in relation to previous
month when amounted 493,60 KM. |
