COMENTARY 01/07 INDUSTRY Industrial
production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in December 2006 rose by 18,6% in relation to the average
monthly production of 2005, and rose by 6,7% in relation to the production in
December 2005 while it
rose by 1,6% in relation to November
2006. Industrial
production in 2006 rose by 7,5% in
relation to 2005. Viewed
according to branches of industry in December 2006 in relation to average
monthly production of last year industrial
production in field of Mining less for 0,3%, Manufacturing industry
rose by 25,8%, Electricity, gas and water supply rose by 11,7%. Viewed.according
to main industrial groupings in
2006 in relation to 2005,
increase in production was posted at intermediate goods, except energy (index
111,3), energy (index 107,3), durable consumer goods (index 116,7), capital
goods (index 110,6), non-durable consumer goods (index 104,7), decline was
posted unclassified (index 87,1). AGRICULTURE In autunm sown area in 2006 is 30.411 ha, which
is a decrease of 0,7% in relation to autumn sown area in last
year. Observing
by the crop groups, sown area of cereals rose by 1,0%, vegetables fall by 2,3%, and fodder crops fall by 11,3% compared to autumn sown in
2005. Sown
area of winter wheat is on the same
level with 2005. FORESTRY
The
total production of
forestry assortments in period
I - XI 2006 rose
by 127.000 m3
(6,5%) in relation to same period of 2005. Production
of assortments of coniferous
rose for 48.000 m3 (5,3%)
while the production assortiments of broadleaf rose by 79.000 m3 (7,6%). The
total sale of forestry assortments in period I-XI
2006 rose by 158.000 m3 (8,3%)
in relation to same period of
2005. Sale of assortments of coniferous rose by
76.000 m3 (8,6%) while sale assortiments of broadleafs
rose by 81.000 m3 (7,8%). CONSTRUCTION Total
value of completed construction projects in November 2006 in relation to
average value completed construction projects in 2005 rose by 54,1% while in
relation to same month of 2005 rose by 26,5%. In
November 2006 45,5% of completed projects related to
building, and 54,5% civil enginnering works. In
November 2006 43,3% of completed projects related to
newly-built buildings, 56,7% to reconstruction, maintenance and repair works
of existing buildings. The
realized efective hours in November 2006 was 1.723.314 Share was following:
bildings 51,7%, and for civil engineering works 48,3%. The
number of workers in November 2006 was 10.917, of which of the buildings
51,6%, and on the civil engineering works 48,4%. HOME TRADE
Retail
trade
During November 2006 we
corrected preliminary retail trade data for period I - X 2006. Total value
(VAT excluded) decreased from 3,658,776 thousand KM to 3,658,736 thousand
KM.
Value in retail trade
(included VAT) decreased from 3,879,397 thousand KM to 3,879,323 thousand KM,
while the value of trade in other activities increased from 340,591 thousand
KM to 340,628 thousand KM.
Value of retail trade in
November 2006 (VAT including) was 393,172 thousand KM, what is 8.2% less then
in previous month. In period I – XI 2006 realized value was 4,272,495
thousand KM.
Total value (VAT excluded)
in November 2006 was 379,211 thousand KM, and in period I – XI 2006 was
4,037,947 thousand KM.
Value in other activities
(VAT excluded) in November 2006 was 42,835 thousand KM, and in period I – XI
2006 was 383,463 thousand KM.
According
to prevailing activity of business entities greatest value of retail trade in
November 2006 realized in following activities: Retail sale in
non-specialized stores 145,864 thousand KM or 37.1% in total sale, Other
retail sale of new goods in specialized stores 88,422 thousand KM or 22.5%,
and Retail sale of fuels 86,244 thousand KM or 21.9%. The share of all other
activities in total retail sale was 18.5%. According to branches the
greatest values of retail trade in November 2006 were in following groups:
Non-specialized stores of food in value 110,454 thousand KM or 28.1% of total
sale, Automotive fuel 86,244 thousand KM or 21.9%, Other non-specialized
stores 35,409 thousand KM or 9.0%. The share of all other groups in total
retail sale was 41.0%.
These
data related to enterprises and their units located in Federation
B&H. Business entities of
Federation B&H with units located in RS, in period 1.1. – 30.11. 2006
realized value of retail trade (VAT included) in amount of 118,961 thousand KM,
and November coverage contains 35 business entities, what is 63% from total
registered business entities with units in RS.
Sale of
agriculture products at outdoor
markets in November 2006
Value of sale agriculture products at outdoor markets in
November 2006 was 4.341.816 KM, it represent
decline of sale in amount of 935.712
KM or 17,7% in relation to
November of last year.
In November 2006 share in total sale of agriculture products at outdoor markets, grouped to products is
as follows: Other products 27,1%, Fruit 21,8%, Vegetable 23,3%, Milk and
dairy products 9,9%, Honey 2,5%, Cereals and cereals products 1,7%, Poultry
and eggs 11,1%, Fish 2,4%, wood 0,2%.
Sale and purchase of agriculture products in
November 2006
The
total value of sale agricultural products by own production of agricultural
companies and agricultural cooperatives and purchase of agriculture products
from individual agriculture producers in November 2006 came to 9.708.399 KM, what in comparison with November of last
year, represent increase for 470.697
KM or 5,1%. The
total value of sale agriculture products by companies and agricultural
cooperatives in November 2006 amounts
to 3.215.698 KM, what in relation to
November of last year represent
decline for 318.947 KM or 9,0%. The
total value of purchase agriculture products by individual agricultural
producers in November 2006 amounts to 6.492.701 KM, what in comparasion with
November of last year increase for 789.644 KM or 13,8%. TOURISM In
November 2006 was realized 20.677
tourist arrivals, what is for 14,7% more in relation to same month of last
year. Tourist
was realized 40.369 nights, of which
domestic tourists was realized 44,9%, and foreign tourists 55,1%. In
November 2006 domestic tourist nights
rose by 45,0% and foreign tourist nights rose by 22,6% in relation to same
month of last year. Capacities
in tourism in November 2006 come to 12.118 beds, what is for 4,6% more in
relation to same month of last year. EMPLOYMENT AND UNEMPLOYMENT The
total number of employed persons in November 2006. on the area of the
Federation B&H came to 392.839. Level
of employment in November 2006 represents 62,25% from the level in 1991.
(1991. represents territory which are
according to territorial border belongs to Federation B&H). According
to the Unemployment service it was 360.469 registered unemployed persons at
the end of November 2006., on the
area of the Federation B&H. In relation to the previous month it is more for 420 persons or by 0,12%. Composition
of persons who seeking job is: university-level specialist´s training 7.037
or 1,95%, advanced specialist´s training 4.933 or 1,37%, intermediate specialist´s training 82.375 or 22,85%, lower skilled
workers 1.022 or 0,28%, highly skilled workers 2.851 or
0,79%,skilled workers 132.851 or 36,86%, semi - skilled workers 11.541 or
3,20% and not qualified
workers 117.859 or 32,70%. Concerning
to skill of persons who seeking job 230.047 or 63,82% refered to expertly
persons and 130.422 or 36,18% refered to non skilled persons. At
the end of November 2006. organizations - employers have started needs for
1.799 workers, so that to one application of offering job covers 200 workers who seeking job. WAGE The
average net wage in November 2006. in F B&H came to 618,96 KM. In November 2006. average net wage increased by 0,80 %. In
period IX – XI 2006. average net wage
came to 614,08 KM. In relation to the same period of last year it increased
by 8,58%. The
average gross wage in November
2006. in Federation B&H
came to 910,24 KM. PENSION Payment pensions
in November 2006.
in Federation B&H
were for 312.528 pensioners. The
level of payment pension in November 2006. was following:

PRICES Retail
price indices
The
retail price indices in December
2006 in relation to the
previous month are unchanged. The
price index of agriculture products rose by 2,1%, manufactured nonfood
products less for 0,3%, manufactured
foodstuff rose by 0,1%. The price index
of beverages less for 0,2%.. The
price index of tobacco are unchanged The retail price index in December rose by
8,3% in relation to average price index in 2005. In relation to December 2005 rose by 6,6%. In
period January – December 2006 in to
relation to same period 2005 retail price index rose by 7,0%. Cost of
living indices
The
cost of living index in December 2006 rose by 0,5% relation to previous month. The
index of cost for goods rose by 0,68% and for services rose by 0,2%. The
index of cost for food rose by 1,5%,
household furnishings less for 0,3% beverages and tobacco less for 0,3%, apparel less for 0,1%, higiene and health rose by 0,1%, fuel and lighting
less for 0,7%.. The
index of cost of living in November
2006 rose by 6,9% in relation
to average cost of living index in 2005.
In relation to December 2005
by 4,9%. In
period January – December 2006 in relation to same period 2005 cost of living
indices rose by 6,0%. Indices
of producers’ prices of industrial product The
price index of producer industrial products in December 2006 rose by 0,1% in
relation to previous month. Viewed
according to main industrial groupings price index in energy rose by 0,2%,
non-dyrable consumer goods rose by 0,1%, intermediate goods except energy
less for 0,1%, and other groups are unchanged. Viewed
by sections and divisions of SCE-a in the area of mining price index rose by
1,4% in the area of electricita gas and waher supply less for 0,3%. Increase
at price index was registred at following divisions: manufacture of pulp,
paper and paper product for 4,4%, mining of coal and peat for 1,7%,
manufacture of electrical machinery and apparatus for 1,0%, manufacture of
basic metals for 0,5%, manufacture of food and beverages for 0,4% and
manufacture of chemicals and chemical products for 0,2%. Decline
at price index was registred at following divisions: manufacture of metal
products except machine and equipment for 1,3%, manufacture of non-metalic
mineral products for 1,0%, electricity, gas, steam and hot water suplly for
0,4%, manufacture of rubber and plastic products for 0,2%. In
other divisions at price index are unchanged. The
prices index of producer industrial products in December 2006 rose by 8,1% in relation to average
index in 2005 in relation to December 2005 less for rose by 4,6%. In period
January – December 2006 in relation
to same period 2005 index of producers prices of industrial products rose
by 3,5%. Basket of
necessary product
The
basket of necessary products containing the most important products that by
content and quantities calculated by experts, and that provides minimum needs
for renewal power that expended of work. From
category products “Food and beverages” made selection of products for basket
that covers standard needs
for a family of four in a month, without pretension that marking limited case
on any way. Expenditures for
food and beverages according to the provided list
in December 2006 amounts to 490,80 KM, which is for 2,58 KM or 0,4 % more in
relation to previous
month when amounted 488,22KM. |
